An ISO certified company, Anjani Technoplast Ltd. was established in 1988 by first generation industrialists – a young couple – Mr. R. K. Gupta (IT BHU, now IIT Varanasi, 1986) and Mrs. Lavina Gupta (IT BHU, now IIT Varanasi, 1989). From a small office in Noida, the company grew to 350 employees, 350+ machines encompassing 350,000 sq ft land area all with the grace of almighty and the help and support of its talented workforce, engaging and supportive customers and competitive suppliers. Today, the company also has operations in the Middle East as well as the United States of America which carry out the international trade.
The company was the first licensed manufacturer of Walt Disney products such as 3D stickers cum wall hangings and eventually moved on to create moulds and machines of white good components for Whirlpool, Electrolux and LG as well as various automobile components for multiple customers by employing technologies of injection moulding and compression moulding, among others.
In 1998, Anjani was renamed from Anjani Thermoformers to Anjani Technoplast to encompass the wide spectrum of plastic technology that it had developed an expertise in.
Early in 2006 – 07, Anjani moved its manufacturing and corporate headquarters to Greater Noida, India. Over the years, the company created a name for itself for industrial research and development, appreciated for its all-in-one-shop client centric approach.
Anjani is considered one of the leading manufactures of armouring products in India, the testimony of which is its decade long relationship with the government of India and its substitutes such as DRDO, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Home Affairs.
The first market opportunities for manufacturing plastic honeycomb, on an industrial as well as commercial basis, began with the requirement of a lightweight structural material of high strength by building and construction industry. Between 2011 and 2013, Anjani researched on the machine design of honeycomb panels and soon entered the market with a scope of applications, a range that has exponentially grown in the past few years. Driven by the ‘Make in India’ campaign, Anjani now produces the plastic honeycomb in-house, with a machine created in-house.
Anjani is a serial innovator of special purpose machines for different industries. It designed, manufactured and sold hydraulic press machine with capacity up to 1000 tonnes, the first of its kind in India at that time. On the road of firsts, the company also designed and manufactured the first CNC water jet cutting machine in India. An example of a recent innovation (2015-16) is the multi head drilling and deburring machine for O&G giant Baker Hughes.
