Anjani Technoplast Develops Advanced Pressurized Missile Containers for Astra Mk-1 BVRAAM

Anjani Technoplast Ltd. (ATL) has developed advanced Pressurized Missile Containers (PMC) designed to support India’s indigenous Astra Mk-1 Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile (BVRAAM) program. These containers are engineered using lightweight composite materials and are capable of maintaining a controlled, pressurized inert atmosphere, ensuring long-term protection of sensitive missile systems during storage, transportation, and deployment.

The Astra Mk-1 missile, developed by DRDO, is a key component of India’s air defence capability, capable of engaging targets beyond 100 km with high precision and advanced guidance systems.

ATL’s PMCs play a critical role in preserving missile integrity by offering protection against moisture, temperature fluctuations, shock, and contamination. Their robust, corrosion-resistant composite construction enhances durability while reducing overall weight, enabling efficient logistics and field handling.

With proven collaboration with leading defence organizations such as DRDO and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), ATL continues to strengthen India’s defence ecosystem by delivering mission-ready, MIL-compliant solutions that enhance operational readiness and lifecycle performance of strategic assets.
