Job Title: GET / ITI Technician – Mechanical

Job Description:

We are looking for mechanically skilled trainees and technicians (GETs / ITI) to support various shopfloor functions including assembly, machine operation, fabrication, maintenance, and quality checks. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in mechanical systems and a hands-on approach to working with tools, machines, and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in machine setup, operation, and routine maintenance.

  • Support production and assembly of mechanical components and systems.

  • Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions.

  • Operate basic hand tools, measuring instruments, and machines (lathe, drill, etc.).

  • Participate in inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities.

  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline on the shopfloor.

  • Provide support to seniors in troubleshooting and repairs.

  • Document work activities as per defined formats or SOPs.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (for GETs) or ITI (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, etc.).

  • 0–2 years of experience or industrial training.

  • Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and measuring tools.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different shopfloor processes.

  • Team player with good work ethics and discipline.

  • Exposure to CNC machines, welding, or assembly is an advantage.
