Job Title: GET / ITI Technician – Mechanical

Job Description:
We are looking for mechanically skilled trainees and technicians (GETs / ITI) to support various shopfloor functions including assembly, machine operation, fabrication, maintenance, and quality checks. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in mechanical systems and a hands-on approach to working with tools, machines, and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in machine setup, operation, and routine maintenance.
Support production and assembly of mechanical components and systems.
Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
Operate basic hand tools, measuring instruments, and machines (lathe, drill, etc.).
Participate in inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline on the shopfloor.
Provide support to seniors in troubleshooting and repairs.
Document work activities as per defined formats or SOPs.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (for GETs) or ITI (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, etc.).
0–2 years of experience or industrial training.
Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and measuring tools.
Willingness to learn and adapt to different shopfloor processes.
Team player with good work ethics and discipline.
Exposure to CNC machines, welding, or assembly is an advantage.
