Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Sales Executive to support and grow our business in government and institutional sectors. The candidate should have experience handling GEM portal operations, conducting on-site product demonstrations, and managing technical specifications and proposals. This role involves coordination with internal teams, field visits, and customer engagement to convert opportunities into successful orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end operations on the GEM portal, including product listings, bid submissions, and compliance.

  • Identify relevant tenders, analyze requirements, and prepare competitive offers.

  • Conduct on-site product demonstrations for clients across various locations.

  • Interact with clients to understand technical requirements and present appropriate solutions.

  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in coordination with design and production teams.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement officials and key decision-makers.

  • Follow up on leads, enquiries, and submitted bids to drive closures.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of client communications, feedback, and product performance.

  • Provide post-sale support and coordinate with service teams where required.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Engineer with a background in Mechanical/Electrical/Technical Sales preferred.

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2G/B2B sales, with proficiency in GEM portal operations.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills for field demos and client meetings.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.

  • Familiarity with tendering procedures, government procurement norms, and compliance requirements.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, demos, and exhibitions.

  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
