Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Sales Executive to support and grow our business in government and institutional sectors. The candidate should have experience handling GEM portal operations, conducting on-site product demonstrations, and managing technical specifications and proposals. This role involves coordination with internal teams, field visits, and customer engagement to convert opportunities into successful orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end operations on the GEM portal, including product listings, bid submissions, and compliance.
Identify relevant tenders, analyze requirements, and prepare competitive offers.
Conduct on-site product demonstrations for clients across various locations.
Interact with clients to understand technical requirements and present appropriate solutions.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in coordination with design and production teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement officials and key decision-makers.
Follow up on leads, enquiries, and submitted bids to drive closures.
Maintain detailed documentation of client communications, feedback, and product performance.
Provide post-sale support and coordinate with service teams where required.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate/Engineer with a background in Mechanical/Electrical/Technical Sales preferred.
2–5 years of experience in B2G/B2B sales, with proficiency in GEM portal operations.
Strong presentation and communication skills for field demos and client meetings.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
Familiarity with tendering procedures, government procurement norms, and compliance requirements.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, demos, and exhibitions.
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
